We went to Insadong, which is the only remaining old-style section of the city, and had a Korean lunch with a variety of authentic teas. Later we did some shopping at the largest mega-store in Korea.
On our second day we got up early to see the action at the Noryangjin Fisheries, Seoul's largest fish market. This was quite an experience! Then, we hopped the subway over to Gyeongbokgung, the ancient royal palace, to see the changing of the guards and view this historic treasure.
We got back just in time to catch the bus to the airport and were off to New Zealand. We really enjoyed Seoul and hope to get back someday to spend more time.
Here are a few pictures from our time in Korea and check out more pictures and videos clips here.
